Our History
Muhammad Law Center launched from a modest building in Chicago’s South Side, in the heart of the Black community. From its inception, the Center has been dedicated to protecting the human rights of African Americans, focusing on critical areas such as police brutality, prisoners’ rights, and criminal defense.
This strategic location and bold approach position the Muhammad Law Center as more than just a law firm – it’s a vital community resource, an innovative think tank, and a powerful advocate for change. As a think tank, the Center conducts research, develops policy recommendations, and creates strategies to address systemic issues in the justice system.
